My music choice and why

“One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain” – Bob Marley.

If I am not wrong most of the people in the world like music no matter what is the genre. So do I. But I prefer a special kind of music which is soothing/soft music. That doesn’t mean, I don’t like other genres.
Actually once upon a time, I listened to lots of music but after entering into the job career it is difficult for me to find a time for my hobbies. But still, somehow I manage little time for my hobbies. Most of the time I hear music in the morning and evening (When traveling to the office and returning to home). These times generally I feel sleepy or feel tired and soothing music helps me to release stress.
Some other reasons behind it.
  • The soothing power of music is well-established. It has a unique link to our emotions, so can be an extremely effective stress management tool.
  • Listening to music can have a tremendously relaxing effect on our minds and bodies, especially slow, quiet classical music.
  • This type of music can have a beneficial effect on our physiological functions, slowing the pulse and heart rate, lowering blood pressure, and decreasing the levels of stress hormones.
  • It can be a great aid to meditation, helping to prevent the mind wandering.

Musical preference varies widely between individuals, so only you can decide what you like and what is suitable for each mood. But even if you don’t usually listen to classical music it may be worth giving it a try when selecting the most calming music.
